Sara Hallajian
Owner & Certified Trichologist, IAT
I founded âme with a commitment to thoughtful hair care and a welcoming space for clients and stylists. My work has since grown into a deeper focus on hair and scalp health through our other location, âme vitality.
As an IAT-Certified Trichologist, I help clients understand concerns such as thinning hair, shedding, and scalp imbalances. At âme vitality, I bring together hair and scalp assessments, scalp care, and personalized treatment plans, including Alma TED.
In November 2024, I completed Level 1 of the Integrative Health Practitioner Institute. This expanded my understanding of the factors that can influence hair and scalp health and informs the education, recommendations, and referrals I offer.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and continuing to learn about trichology and wellness.

Theresa “Tree” Marqua
Cutting, color & Great Lengths extensions
At 22, I was a hair model for a salon in Orange County. The experience made me feel beautiful and cared for, and I knew I wanted to offer that same feeling to others.
I take time to listen to each guest’s concerns and goals. That exchange of ideas is where a great appointment begins. At âme, I’m part of a supportive team that inspires me to keep learning and improving my craft.
I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005. My continuing education includes advanced cutting with Toni & Guy, balayage with L’Oréal, Great Lengths extensions, and precision foiling and blonding brunettes with 901 Academy.

Elana Cohen
Curly hair, cutting & color
I began my career at Paul Labrecque in New York City. After eight years, I moved to the West Coast, where I continued my education in Downtown Los Angeles with in-depth training in curly haircuts and styling.
My favorite moment is the reveal at the end of an appointment and seeing the expression on my client’s face. I love art, working with my hands, and learning new techniques. Hair brings those interests together in a way that feels both creative and practical.
At âme, I bring the cutting and color techniques I’ve gathered along the way to each appointment, with the goal of helping you feel happy and comfortable in your hair.

Carrie Michelle
Precision cuts & natural-looking color
With more than 25 years in the beauty industry, Carrie brings experience in precision cutting and natural-looking color. Early training with Sebastian and Toni & Guy helped shape her approach to both technique and creativity.
Known for her kind, caring manner and attention to detail, she creates cuts designed to grow out naturally, from long layers to textured bobs. Each look is shaped around the person wearing it.
Her color work focuses on soft, customized shades and a seamless grow-out. She continues to study new techniques and refine her craft so every appointment feels considered and personal.

Kasey (Ksenia) Udler
Blondes, dimensional color & tape-in extensions
My journey with hair began in Ukraine, where I grew up helping in my mother’s salon. After beauty school in Kyiv and a few years working there, I moved to San Francisco in 2003. My career later brought me to Los Angeles, where I’ve spent more than a decade behind the chair.
Connection matters most to me. A great consultation starts with your story, your lifestyle, and what makes you feel beautiful. From there, we can create a look that feels fresh, effortless, and yours.
My work includes seamless blondes and balayage, dimensional brunettes, gray coverage and blending, tape-in extensions, and cuts with easy-to-wear layers and movement.
Clients describe me as warm, upbeat, and a little bit of a perfectionist. I want you to leave feeling seen, relaxed, and confident. Outside the salon, I enjoy the gym, local coffee shops and bookstores, farmers markets, and time at the beach and parks with my daughters.

Shannon
.
I’m originally from Arizona, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology before moving to Los Angeles to pursue hair. I completed my cosmetology education at Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks, then began assisting and training with Elana Cohen at âme.
I love the energy of the salon, the connections with clients, and the creativity in each service. My background in psychology has made me especially aware of how much our hair can influence the way we feel.
My goal is to create a relaxing, positive experience for every guest, with time to feel comfortable and cared for. I’m grateful to be growing my career with this supportive team, and I look forward to welcoming you into my chair.
